What is Contren?
Contren is a trend and competitor intelligence platform with AI content generation built in. It tells you what is worth creating next — which topics are rising, what your competitors are covering, where the gaps are — and then helps you create the content for that opportunity, in your own language.
Can I track my competitors?
Yes. Add the creators and brands you compete with and keep their topics, formats and notes in one place, next to the trends they are missing. The Student plan tracks up to 5 competitors and Individual up to 15.
Which platforms do you support?
Trend and competitor signals are read across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Google, Reddit and news sources. Generated content is written for the platform you choose.
Is there a free trial?
Every new account starts with 100 free AI credits — no card needed. After that, Student is $3 a month or $16 for 6 months (with a student ID). Individual is $7 a month or $40 for 6 months.
How do AI credits work?
Every AI action costs credits, and heavier work costs more: a hook, title, caption or CTA is 1 credit, a short script 2, a long-form script 4, a full content pack or deep report 5 and a content calendar 10. Every format shows its cost before you generate, and if an AI job fails on our side its credits come back automatically. You are warned when your balance drops to 20% of your monthly allowance.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits do not roll over — each paid month starts with a fresh allowance. A 6-month plan gives you all its credits at once, to use any time in the six months. Top-up credits are kept separately and last 12 months from purchase.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. A new plan starts the day you pay. Credits left on your old plan stay usable until that plan's own end date, and top-up credits are never touched.
